Well everyone its been a little over three weeks now since I began my weight-loss journey. Yes, its been tough and I had a few melt downs but I’m still in the game! My first week was of course hard for me but I managed to lose almost 6 pounds. Woot! Woot! I stopped drinking pop/soda and boy did I had major withdraws. I love pop! Haha, I felt myself sweating and having dry mouth when I passed the vending machine that sells nice cold refreshments but I managed to stay away. I stopped eating bread and didn’t drink a lot of juice, mostly tea and water. I limited myself with meat and portion controlled with all the rest of my foods. I keep a food diary to help me out and so I tracked my foods on my weight-loss app that tracks all my food in a point system. I have a certain amount of points I’m allowed each day and my points vary with different kinds of foods I eat. I was still able to eat foods I like when I went out to eat but I noticed I was full half way through my meals and so I saved my leftovers for dinner or the next day or even for my fiance. My second week was still hard but was so happy to see that I lost 6 more pounds and my third week 5 pounds! A total of 17 pounds! I’m doing the running man dance..haha. Every week I would weigh myself in the bathroom and I will hear a little knock. My fiance knocking lightly on our bathroom door and ask “Well, did you lose anything?” and when I told him, he gets all excited and goes to my weight-loss jars to transfer my weight-loss marbles into my pounds lost jar. He tells me he is so proud of me and it makes me feel so good. If you want to know what are weight-loss jars just check out one of my older blog posts you’ll see pictures of it. I know you are probably wondering if I have been exercising too but I havent. I wasnt able to exercise for the first three weeks of my weigh-loss journey because of my back issues. But now my back is feeling much better and I’ve started working out. So if I lost that much weight in the three weeks WITHOUT exercising then what would my weight-loss be WITH me working out?! Crossing my fingers the number keeps going down. I want to thank everyone for your encouragement, I really needed it.
